Scholarship Details

In order to provide ample and equal opportunities to student with low means of sustenance, student from backward classes and frontier regions of the state, a number of post matric scholarships are administered by the college. These scholarships are financed by the Govt. of India through the State Govt. and are disbursed as per guidelines of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. In addition to this, college also grants financial assistance to orphans, poor and needy students out of the student’s aid fund. Disbursement of this assistance is made as per guideline laid down by higher education department.

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS/FINANCIAL AID

A scholarship holder is expected to maintain regular attendance and a satisfactory conduct in the college.
Scholarship shall be drawn only for academic session including the month in which the university Examinations is completed.
Detained or failed student are not eligible for scholarship/financial aid, except in very exceptional circumstances.
Parents/guardian of scholarship holder shall give an undertaking for refund of scholarship amount in one installment in case their ward is found to participate in strikes or any other subversive activities.
All payments to the scholarship holder will be made through online transmission for which the eligible student has to give his/her 16 digit bank account number in the college while applying for the scholarship.

General Rules

Restricted Entry
No outsider is allowed to enter the college without a valid reason...

Violence
Unlawful assembly of students in the college is banned.

Graffiti & Stickers
Writing of graffiti on the walls or sticking of posters is a cognizable offence.

Ragging
Ragging in any form, on or off the college campus, is a cognizable offence and the students involved in ragging are severely punished, even to the extent of being expelled from the college.

Discipline
A student, who indulges in any type of indiscipline in the college I shall not be eligible for any prize, certificate, college colour, award or scholarship from the institution.

Bad character certificate
Students resorting to unfair means in any examination are liable to be issued a bad character certificate.

Withdrawing his/her name from the college rolls
A student desirous of withdrawing his/her name from the college rolls should submit an application countersigned by parents/guardian. The withdrawal certificate shall be issued only after the student clear all college dues. Such student shall in no case be readmitted during the same academic session.

Absence of student
A student remaining continuously absent for more than two weeks will be struck off from the rolls of the college

Shortage
The Principal can condone shortage up to five lectures in theory and up to three sessions in practical.

Absence Due to Curriculum
Attendance in lieu of participation in games is a maximum of 30 working days in an academic year. A student is expected to maintain silence in and around the classrooms.

Uniform
All students have to be in specified uniform i.e. white Kameez (Below the knees), white Salwar and White dupatta (plain) and black sweater in winter for girls. For married girls, the uniform is pink Kameez(plain), pink salwar (plain) and pink dupatta (plain).White shirt and black pants for boys.
